Exterminator Secrets

What the Exterminators don't tell you about pests.

Exterminator Secrets was started by a couple of veteran exterminators who have been in the pest control business for years.

After spending so much time on the job, you start to notice the same questions coming up again and again. Where are these ants coming from? How are mice getting into the house? Why do the roaches keep coming back? Is this something I can handle myself, or do I need to call an exterminator?

We’ve answered questions like these more times than we can count.

And over the years, we’ve learned plenty of things you won’t necessarily find written on the back of a pest control product. You learn where pests like to hide, the little signs that give an infestation away, why certain treatments don’t work, and what actually helps keep pests from coming back.

Eventually, we thought: why not put some of that knowledge online?

That’s how Exterminator Secrets came about.

What We Share

This site is where we share what we’ve learned from years of dealing with pests in the real world.

We cover everything from identifying common household pests and figuring out how they got inside to getting rid of them and preventing them from returning.

Some problems are surprisingly easy to deal with once you know what you’re looking for. Others really do need a professional. We’ll try to help you understand the difference.

We also know there’s rarely one magic trick that works for every pest problem. Houses are different, infestations are different, and sometimes what looks like an obvious solution isn’t the real solution at all.

That’s why we try to explain not just what to do, but why it works.

Why Exterminator Secrets?

The name is pretty simple.

After years of working in pest control, you pick up tricks, habits, and little pieces of knowledge that most people outside the industry never really hear about.

Things like where an exterminator checks first when entering a room, what certain droppings or damage can tell you, the tiny gaps pests use to get inside, and why an infestation sometimes returns even after you thought you got rid of it.

Those are the “secrets” we want to share.

No scare tactics. No making every bug you find sound like a disaster. Just practical pest control knowledge from people who have spent years doing the work.

And when something really does need an exterminator, we’ll tell you that too.
